The Opportunity
We’re looking for one Permanent Full-Time Talent Advisor to support our busy Talent team and help bring great people into meaningful roles across our Diocese.
In this role, you’ll be helping the team deliver job advertisements, fit for purpose recruitment processes, drafting offer letters, updating systems, and being a friendly contact point for candidates and hiring managers.
No two days are the same, and your work will directly support communities across the Hunter and Manning regions.

POSITION DESCRIPTION
The Talent Advisor will work closely with the Senior Talent Partner and Talent Partner to support the delivery of pro-active, high quality recruitment services to hiring managers and candidates.
The Talent Advisor ensures recruitment activity is executed consistently, data is accurate and candidates experience a professional, respectful process aligned to Diocesan Policies and Procedures.
Skills and Experiences:
EXPERIENCE/CRITERIA
- Ability to juggle multiple recruitment tasks simultaneously, and accommodate workflow increases during peak recruitment periods (experience in agency/inhouse recruitment)
- Knowledge, understanding and ability to implement best practice recruitment, talent sourcing using various platforms including ATS Systems (ELMO or similar)
- Experience developing process documents and hiring manager learning materials
- Strong interpersonal, relationship and verbal communication skills with ability to engage all stakeholder groups
- Experience drafting contractual agreements with strong attention to detail and accurate data entry.
- Ability to prepare reports and present data in meaningful presentations
- Experience drafting job advertisements utilising written communication skills to engage and attract suitable candidates
- Commitment to Confidentiality and ethical recruitment practices
- A high level of professionalism, confidentially, compliance and ethical practice and the ability to adapt to a changing environment and high-volume workload
- Experience in Recruitment and/or Human Resources
- Current Class C Driver’s Licence
- LinkedIn Recruiter and/or SEEK Talent Premium experience
- National Criminal History Check
