As the Talent Development Leader for APJ, you will consult with Business and Employee Experiences leaders to be responsible for the design and implementation of initiatives that have a real impact on advancing Adobe’s talent capabilities in our diverse region.

Key focus areas include: identify and assess talent development needs in alignment with your designation client groups’ strategic business plans, leadership of the Learning & Development program (creation, execution, measurement) for your designated internal client groups, be a trusted partner to Business leaders and HRBPs on talent management and talent development efforts, design and facilitate sessions covering the areas: Leadership development, team effectiveness, Employee skills development and recommend and source appropriate training vendors to augment the Adobe program.

This role is a senior member of the Global Talent Development team, partnering across Employee Experience to provide guidance, mentoring and role modelling a learning culture. An active contributor to the team and work with colleagues on projects and programs across all Adobe regions. Core responsibilities include:

Partner with business leaders and HRBPs to identify and assess Talent Development needs, align needs in region with Adobe global programs and lead efforts to support Adobe’s business goals.

You will work with leaders and teams across time zones and countries. Some travel during the year may be required – approx. 1-2 trips per year.

Support APAC and Japan business performance by identifying and solving talent and capability problems.

Facilitate Talent Development programs. This includes virtual webinar style and facilitated in-person sessions such as Off-sites and team meeting sessions.

Be a trusted advisor to the EX and Business Leaders in Talent Development and Talent Management subject areas

Partner with other learning teams across Adobe, for example, Sales Enablement to ensure alignment

Leadership of, and key contributor to projects for our APAC region or with our global teams, for example The Adobe Leader Experience and Career Fest efforts.

Stay ahead of talent trends and sophisticated thinking around solutions to further develop talent and organization effectiveness.

Coach and Mentor team members in Talent Development and Learning practices.

Represent Talent Development on cross-functional Employee Experience (EX) team projects and work as the need arises

Education & Experience Required:
Demonstrated ability within Learning & Development

Experience in L&D, HR partnership or business leadership (10+ years)

Ability to coach and develop leaders and managers at all levels within the organization

Ability to coach, grow and mentor a team

Strong business acumen

Ability to develop and implement a strategic talent development plan

Demonstrated track record of project or program execution with demonstrated business impact

Experience and capability with talent tools such as Gallup Strengths Finder, SDI, DISC, Insights and similar

Excellent group & facilitation skills (virtual and in person)

Fluent in English – fluency in one of Mandarin, Cantonese, Korean, Japanese is a plus

Clear communicator with excellent stakeholder management skills, directly working with regional senior leadership team

Strong personal leadership and influencing skills.

Strong collaborator who takes accountability for work outputs

Ability to prioritize and make recommendations to improve practices and processes

Comfortable working across cultures and with teams across Asia Pacific, India, EMEA and USA.
