Job Description

The Talent Management Partner plays a key role in advancing Cornerstone Building Brands’ enterprise-wide talent strategy by leading High Potential (HiPO) development programs, implementing assessment methodologies, and supporting internal mobility through structured career pathing. Reporting directly to the Director of Talent Management, this role will design and implement scalable assessment tools, create talent dashboards to track program impact, and integrate data into succession and workforce planning. Additionally, the Partner will support the creation of career path frameworks that align skill development with clear progression opportunities.

The ideal candidate is highly collaborative, analytical, and passionate about unlocking the full potential of internal talent.

KEY OBJECTIVES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Design, deliver, and manage enterprise-wide HiPO development programs that provide visible, targeted growth opportunities and accelerate leadership readiness, resulting in increased HiPO engagement and a stronger succession pipeline.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and scorecards to track HiPO progression, succession depth, internal mobility, and program effectiveness, enabling data-driven decisions and real-time visibility into talent readiness and risk.
  • Co-design and implement scalable, validated assessment tools (e.g., 9-box, 360s, simulations) to evaluate leadership capability, potential, and readiness, improving consistency in talent decisions and reducing bias in the succession process.
  • Act as a talent broker by connecting internal talent to strategic development and stretch opportunities that align with individual capabilities and business needs, increasing utilization of internal talent and organizational agility.
  • Partner cross-functionally to support inclusive talent practices and ensure diverse representation within leadership pipelines.

LEADERSHIP COMPETENCIES:

  • Cornerstone Building Brands (CBB) Values and Behaviors & Mindsets – Act consistently with CBB’s Values (Safety, Integrity, & Inclusion) and Behaviors & Mindsets (Customer-Centricity, Interconnectedness, Continuous Improvement).
  • Leads Transformation – Champion, support, & drive change, managing the impact on people and processes
  • Influences with Impact – Clearly communicates with confidence to drive action and build enthusiasm
  • Raises the Bar – Inspires growth by challenging limits and pursuing excellence
  • Charts the Course – Focuses on the future and sets a clear direction
  • Talent & Leadership Development Expertise – Brings depth in developing people, programs, and pipelines to grow talent at scale
  • Data Literacy & Analytical Thinking – Leverages metrics and insights to make informed, outcome-oriented decisions
  • Stakeholder Partnership & Collaboration – Builds trust and alignment across teams, functions, and leadership levels

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Psychology, or related field required.
  • 5-7 years of progressive experience in talent development, leadership programs, organizational effectiveness, or HR Business Partnering experiences via indirect ownership.
  • Proven expertise in talent assessment tools, leadership development, and data analytics.
  • Strong facilitation and stakeholder management skills.
  • Master’s degree or certifications in HR, Coaching, or Assessment (e.g., Korn Ferry, Hogan, MBTI) preferred.
  • Experience in a complex and matrixed organization preferred.
