Job Details:

** This is a temporary position with a contract term of 10 months from the start date. **

POSITION SUMMARY:

Based across Europe in The Netherlands, UK, Italy, Portugal, France and Germany our Team members work within the following functions; FSQR and sustainability, commercial, supply chain, finance, marketing and innovation, IT and HR.

This position is a key member of the Tax department reporting to the Tax Director in the US and collaborates with other members of the Tyson Europe team including Finance and Legal.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Preparation of VAT returns: periodic VAT Returns and the additional Intrastat and EC Sales List Preparation of income tax returns and coordination of outsourced preparation by local European advisors. Submission of the VAT and income tax returns in a timely and accurate manner Preparation of monthly tax accounts reconciliation in S4HANA and Blackline Support the process optimization in the area of Indirect and Direct Taxes. Support other ad-hoc International Tax related projects Support and coordination of transfer pricing documentation and advisory tasks.

Supervisory Responsibilities: None

REQUIREMENTS:

Education: Degree in Finance, Accounting or Tax.

Experience: At least 1-2 years of experience in Accounting and/or Direct/Indirect Tax. Essential to have an accounting background, dealing with bookings, tax filings, etc.

Computer skills: Excellent MS Excel skills and SAP knowledge including preparation of reports and exporting data. Interest in dealing with different IT systems.

Language: Excellent verbal and written English skills, other languages are an advantage.

Excellent analytical skills.
Very good communication skills.

Travel: Limited business travel (<5%).
