The Tax Administrator is responsible for preparing and organizing tax-related documents, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations. This role involves supporting the tax team with administrative tasks, maintaining accurate records, and assisting in tax filing processes to ensure timely and accurate submissions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and File Tax Documents: Assist in gathering, reviewing, and submitting tax returns, forms, and related documents. Quality Control.
- Maintain Compliance: Ensure all tax filings adhere to government regulations and company policies. Quality Control.
- Data Management: Maintain tax records, invoices, and reports for audits and internal reviews.
- Communication: Liaise with internal departments, tax professionals, and government agencies regarding tax-related inquiries.
- Deadline Management: Track important tax deadlines and ensure timely submissions to avoid penalties.
- General Administration: Handle tax correspondence, document filing, and assist with other finance-related administrative tasks as needed.
- Associate or bachelors degree
- 1-3 years of experience in tax preparation, administration, or finance.
- Knowledge of tax forms and filing procedures.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word).
- Basic Adobe experience is required.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under deadlines.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a team.
- Must have 1 year of recent experience in the last 5 years
- Must have ability and experience with a high speed printer.
