Tax Manager

A leading and progressive Accounting, Audit & Tax practice is seeking an experienced and career-focused Tax Manager to oversee the group’s tax services offerings. The role will be based in the client’s office in West Dublin with scope for hybrid working.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the provision, production and review of tax services to a challenging and varied client portfolio of companies including international clients;
• Researching and resolving technical queries from clients;
• Building and maintaining relationships with clients and providing a high standard of client service;
• Advising on Irish domestic and international tax matters;
• Coordinating and working with international associate firms on cross-border projects and business development initiatives;
• Contributing to the development of technical knowledge of the office;
• Provide mentoring to other team members to ensure standards are maintained throughout the entire engagement process;
• Identifying client needs and new business opportunities within client organisations;
• Develop and grow the firm’s client portfolio;
• Partake in client fee negotiation;
• Maintain a high quality of work and consistently adhere to relevant professional standards.

Skills & Experience:

• Minimum of five years of practice experience in a professional accounting or tax environment.
• Proven ability to demonstrate initiative, leadership, and a passion for driving firm-wide development.
• Fully or part-qualified accountant with relevant accountancy qualifications (ACA, ACCA, CPA, CTA).
• Strong technical knowledge of Irish and international tax matters.
