- Work in our growing international corporate financial services tax team in Zurich and you will have a specific focus on M&A and restructuring.
- Proactively provide tax expertise to a diverse client portfolio consisting of primarily private equity and real estate clients, encompassing advice on international tax implications in relation to mergers, acquisitions and restructurings.
- Take the lead in managing and coordinating multi-country M&A and restructuring projects consisting of tax due diligence, tax structuring, SPA review, tax modelling and post completion tax advisory services thereby leveraging on the support of associates and senior associates.
- Work with the team to develop the financial services, private equity and real estate practice to broaden the strengthen the client relationships, broaden the client base and diversify the service offering.
Your Skill Set
- A master's degree or an above-average bachelor degree in business administration, economics or law. A focus on tax / international tax; an LLM in international tax would be considered an asset.
- At least 4 years of relevant experience in taxation and M&A related tax matters in an international environment. Experience with private equity or real estate clients is considered an asset.
- You have experience in managing and coordinating of multi-country tax projects.
- Ability to lead and coach a team of senior associates / associates on a complex tax project.
- You are flexible, persistent, open to challenging and complex situations and have a team and customer-oriented personality with excellent communication skills.
- At the interface between economics and law, you have a flair for numbers, models and evaluations as well as for the underlying legal issues.
- You have very good written and spoken English skills; German and/or additional language skills are a plus.
