Position: Tea Plantation & Marketing Supervisor
Job Summary
We are looking for a knowledgeable and hands-on Tea Plantation & Marketing Supervisor with practical experience in tea cultivation and a strong understanding of the tea business. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day plantation activities while also supporting the marketing, promotion, and business development of our premium tea products.
Key Responsibilities
Tea Plantation & Operations
- Supervise day-to-day tea plantation and field operations.
- Monitor tea plant health, growth, pruning, plucking, and overall plantation productivity.
- Ensure proper implementation of cultivation, irrigation, manuring, pest and disease management practices.
- Supervise field workers and ensure work is carried out as per required quality standards.
- Maintain records related to plantation activities, production, labour, and yield.
- Coordinate with tea processing/manufacturing teams to ensure proper handling of harvested leaves.
- Identify operational issues in the plantation and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Ensure sustainable and efficient plantation practices.
Tea Knowledge & Quality
- Possess good knowledge of tea varieties, cultivation practices, processing methods, and quality parameters.
- Understand different tea grades, flavours, aroma, and characteristics.
- Monitor the quality of tea leaves from plantation to processing.
- Stay updated with developments and trends in the tea industry.
Marketing & Business Development
- Support the marketing and promotion of the company's tea products.
- Develop relationships with tea buyers, distributors, retailers, hotels, cafés, and other potential customers.
- Identify new market opportunities for premium tea.
- Assist in product presentations, tea tastings, exhibitions, events, and promotional activities.
- Gather market intelligence regarding competitors, pricing, consumer preferences, and emerging tea trends.
- Support the development of marketing strategies to increase brand visibility and sales.
- Represent the company professionally when interacting with customers, business partners, and industry stakeholders.
Candidate Profile
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in tea plantation, tea estate operations, tea processing, or the tea industry.
- Strong practical knowledge of tea cultivation and plantation management.
- Knowledge of tea quality, processing, grading, and tasting will be an advantage.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Should have an interest in tea marketing, sales, and business development.
- Ability to work independently and manage field-level operations.
- Willingness to travel for plantation visits, customer meetings, exhibitions, and business development activities.
- Candidates with experience in the Northeast tea industry will be preferred.

Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹250,000.00 per month
