Job Description:

Deccan Matriculation School, Ponnai is seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Primary School Teachers to handle classes across all primary grades and subjects. The role focuses on building a strong academic foundation through clear, engaging, and activity-based teaching methods.

The selected candidate will be responsible for planning lessons, preparing teaching materials, conducting assessments, and supporting the overall academic and personal development of students. The teacher should create a positive, disciplined, and interactive classroom environment that encourages learning and active participation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach primary classes across subjects such as English, Mathematics, EVS, and General Studies
• Prepare lesson plans and teaching materials as per the prescribed syllabus
• Conduct regular tests, assignments, and evaluations
• Guide students in understanding concepts and improving academic performance
• Maintain classroom discipline and ensure student engagement
• Support students’ overall development and learning abilities
• Participate in school academic activities, meetings, and events

Qualification:

• Any Degree (B.A / B.Sc / B.Com)
• B.Ed is preferred

Requirements:

• Good communication skills in Tamil and English
• Ability to handle young students with patience and care
• Strong classroom management skills
• Passion for teaching and student development
