About the role
We’re seeking world-class educators to inspire the next generation of Commercial Cookery and students!
Share your skills and passion for education, help students build the skills, qualifications, and employability to support their career goals. You will play a key role in shaping the future commercial cookery workforce by delivering high-quality, industry-aligned training that prepares students for careers in hospitality and culinary industries.
We currently have one full-time, permanent position on immediate offer at the TAFE NSW Campbelltown Campus, and we encourage applicants who meet the minimum requirements for the role and are interested in this opportunity, as well as future roles to apply.
About You
To be successful in the role, you will:
- Hold appropriate subject knowledge and skills, and at minimum hold a Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent.
- Have a minimum of three years post-qualification industry experience relevant to your qualifications, gained no longer than five years previously.
- Hold evidence of the required teaching qualification to deliver Vocational Education and Training (VET). See the candidate support document here for details.
- Be prepared to develop and maintain your VET knowledge and skills as well as your industry currency, and trainer/assessor competence.
Highly regarded: Additional qualifications in related areas, such as Baking or Patisserie
