Job Overview
Crossroads, a hybrid homeschool initiative for pre-k to high school, offers a unique approach to education as we partner with families to combine in-home and community classroom-style learning. Classes are held three-four days a week at our Ephrata, PA campus, which offers an environment and opportunities for students to actively participate in indoor and outdoor, hands-on learning for real life skills. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teacher's Aide to support classroom activities and contribute to the educational development of students. The ideal candidate will work closely with teachers to create a nurturing environment that fosters learning and growth.

Responsibilities
The Teacher Aide's primary responsibility is to assist the Lead Teachers as directed to ensure the implementation of the educational and spiritual curriculum offered at Crossroads, while creating a safe, respectful, and positive environment that’s conducive to learning.

Skills

• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Proficient in math and English
• A passion for nurturing children's growth and fostering a love for learning
• An interest in hands-on learning
• Previous equivalent work experience or experience working with children is highly desirable.

Work Environment
Typical school and classroom environment as well as outdoor instructional sites. Subject to inside and outside environmental conditions.
