About the Role
We’re seeking a skilled and motivated Teaching and Learning Officer to support the smooth delivery of Vocational Education and Training (VET) programs. In this dynamic role, you’ll provide vital administrative and operational support to teaching staff and work closely with key university departments.
Reporting to the Coordinator, Teaching and Learning Support, you’ll manage a range of tasks including coordinating meetings, supporting curriculum data and student engagement processes, assisting with events, onboarding casual teachers, and maintaining compliance records. You'll also help manage timetables, respond to student queries, and handle basic finance tasks such as processing invoices and credit card reconciliations.
This is a great opportunity for someone with strong administrative experience, excellent communication and organisation skills, and a keen eye for detail. Familiarity with the VET sector and confidence using digital tools will be highly regarded.

About You
To be suitable for this role you will need to have:
- Experience in doing admin work in a busy environment where helping others is a priority.
- You can work well on your own and also as part of a team.
- You’re good at building positive relationships and working with different teams to share information.
- You’re flexible and able to adjust to changing needs, always looking for ways to improve how things are done.
- You’re organised and manage your time well, even when things get busy. You can handle multiple tasks and pay attention to the details.
- You’re a good problem-solver and can follow rules and procedures to make the right decisions.
- You’re a clear communicator, both in writing and in person, and can offer helpful advice while keeping things private when needed.
- You understand how the VET sector works and have experience in this area.
- You’re confident using Microsoft Office programs like Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Qualifications
Completion of a degree without subsequent relevant work experience or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
