Korero mo te turanga | About the Role

We currently have a Team Assistant (TA) role available supporting the leaders of two teams in the Budget Directorate, as well as providing administrative support to these two teams. The production of the Government's annual Budget is core work for the Treasury, and the TA has a key role in "making the Budget happen".

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Email, inbox and diary management.
  • Coordinating meetings and liaising with stakeholders.
  • Maintaining and updating reports, including document editing, formatting and printing.
  • Developing and drafting a range of correspondence.
  • Creating reports from databases.
  • Taking minutes and following through on actions.
  • Resource, finance (including invoice/payment), HR and travel administration.
  • Leading and assisting event management as required, including logistics and programme scheduling.

O pumanawa | About You

  • Demonstrated previous administrative experience.
  • Highly organised, efficient with an eye for detail.
  • A pro-active, can-do attitude, and looking to stretch your administrative capabilities.
  • The ability to multi-task, re-prioritise and react to issues that arise during the day whilst keeping calm and professional.
  • A strong customer focus, excellent communication/interpersonal skills. You are someone who enjoys building great relationships.
  • Excellent IT skills and an experienced user of Microsoft Office Suite.

Ko ng hua | What we Offer
