Team Leader/ Cleaner

Role Overview:
As a Cleaning Team Leader/ Cleaner, you will be responsible for managing a team of cleaners as well as handling your own cleaning responsibilities. This is a hands-on role that requires leadership, excellent communication skills, and a positive attitude.

Key Responsibilities:

· Lead, train, and supervise a team of cleaners to ensure quality work.

· Ensure all buildings are cleaned to our standards and client expectations.

· Maintain and enforce health and safety procedures.

· Manage schedules, supplies, and team performance.

· Carry out cleaning duties for assigned buildings.

Minimum qualification and/or work experience:

The ideal candidate for this role would:

· Have 1 year of previous cleaning experience is a must;

· Must have NZ driver’s licence and be able to drive a manual van and truck.

· Availability to work during weekdays, weekends, and public holidays

· Availability to work in rotating rosters for early morning and night shifts (shifts- (6am to 3pm and 9pm to 6am)

· Must be able to pass background checks.

· Be physically fit to carry machinery weighing around 30kgs

· Able to use a floor buffer

· Be an understanding of health and safety principles and practices;

· Have excellent communication and customer service ability;

· Be well presented, organised and capable of working unsupervised;

· Available to pick up shifts on short notice.

· Being timely and reliable

· A good work ethic and can-do attitude is a must

· Ability to work varying shift patterns and be flexible

· A proven track record of being reliable and punctual

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $31.00 – $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 30 per week
