RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead and coordinate daily workflow operations, in collaboration with the Production Manager and senior operators, ensuring efficient execution and alignment with operational objectives.
- Generate and analyse performance reports to monitor key performance indicators (KPI’s), identify trends, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Implement a structured and results driven approach to consistently achieve daily and weekly production targets.
- Drive a culture of accountability and ownership within the team to maintain high performance and operational standards.
- Act as the primary system expert for the customer platform, ensuring timely and accurate processing in line with service level agreements.
- Supports as backup for employee attendance, including FTE and Temporary employees.
- Collaborate closely with the Customer, maintaining strong communication to ensure service excellence and high levels of customer satisfaction, leading the daily calls.
- Lead and initiate line changes, and ensure priorities are considered in scheduling.
- Ability to run a production/kitting line and run data entry functions for releasing finished goods for back up support.
- Lead/co-ordinator of 5S and lean initiatives, and process flow improvements.
- Lead/co-ordinator for Behaviour Based Quality (BBQ) initiatives.
- Lead/co-ordinator for Safety initiatives.
- Train new Operators including temporary employees, with assistance from Senior Operators.
- Internal customer contacts for documentation requirements/resolutions.
- Initiates change requests for SOP’s.
- Assurance to compliance.
- Sponsor and ensure engagement in all internal and external audit programmes such as ISO 13485:2016.
- Other duties and overtime as necessary.
- Attends training sessions as directed.
- Support annual physical inventory count.
- Other duties as assigned.
ABILITIES REQUIRED:
- Leaving Cert or higher education.
- Previous Production/Manufacturing experience needed.
- Previous Leadership experience desired.
- Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel etc).
- Previous experience in a similar role desired.
- ERP system experience would be an advantage.
- Strong interpersonal and professional skills required in the areas of verbal and written communications, customer focus, service to internal and external customers, training, influencing and team building.
- Detail oriented with adherence to Good Documentation Practices.
- Self-starter.
