Make a Real Difference – Team Leader (Disability Services)

  • Lead the team, promoting a positive culture focused on quality care.
  • Serve as a positive role model to create a safe, supportive environment that fosters resilience and positive outcomes for children.
  • Ensure timely completion of all team documentation.
  • Organise and lead team meetings, including training new members through shadow shifts.
  • Delegate tasks and complete shift work, including overnight stays, as needed.
  • Provide compassionate and person-centred support to young people with diverse needs and abilities.
  • Foster a safe and nurturing environment contributing to growth and development.
  • Empower individuals to build essential life skills and promote independence.
  • Use daily routines to provide hands on training for life skills such as cooking, personal care and budgeting.
