Description:
We currently have Full-Time positions available for an immediate start.
As a Team Lead your key responsibilities will include.
•
Machine Operation; proper usage of all machinery and equipment.
•
Order Fulfilment; preparing product in accordance with appropriate procedures and customer specifications including quality control, grading, pre-packing, weighing, and assembling.
•
Understand the specifications relating to labeling produce. The accurate and complete preparation and receipt of Value-Added Batch (VAB).
•
Adhere to Health, Safety and Wellbeing, and Food Safety processes & procedures as instructed by the Supervisor.
•
Competency to learn and operate the required warehouse machinery.
•
Lead by example, ensuring all safety procedures (WHS) are followed.
•
Keep your team on track, ensuring productivity and goal achievement.
•
Help your team maintain efficiency and fulfil orders in a timely order.
•
Work closely with the quality team to maintain compliance and product excellence.
•
Motivate your team for success.
Skills and Experiences:
To be successful in this Team Leader role you will have the following:
•
Previous experience with machine operation is required.
•
Flexible to work early morning shifts (6 am start).
•
Forklift Licence (highly preferred)
•
Availability for weekend work.
•
Previous production/logistics experience is highly regarded.
•
Possesses and uses good interpersonal, communication skills and basic literacy and numeracy skills.
•
General awareness, interest and understanding of health safety and wellbeing practices.
•
1+ year experience leading a small team in a production, warehouse, or packing environment.
•
Strong coordination & organisational skills to keep the team focused and efficient.
•
Experience in the fresh produce industry (highly regarded)
