About the role:
Counties Manukau District is leading the way in the provision of an integrated approach to mental health care and treatment to improve health outcomes and access to health services. Our staffs are working differently with our primary care and NGO services to innovate and deliver a more joined up way of working.
We are seeking to appoint an experienced and dynamic Team Manager to join us in leading clinical teams at Counties Manukau District. This is a full-time position working Monday to Friday based at Matariki in Otahuhu.
This role will be providing management and leadership for the Taunaki and Faletoa service through the utilisation of best management practice and effective leadership. This role reports to the Service Manager Integrated Care North with responsibility to the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services Clinical Head for day-to-day management of clinically safe services.
About you:
You will have:
- Clinical leadership/ management experience in Mental Health setting
- Committed and strives to achieve high standards
- Financial and Budget management
- Sound understanding of the Treaty of Waitangi and cultural competencies required in the service
Background in Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services is preferred but if you’re a dynamic leader with a passion to make a difference, we want to hear from you!
