Job Summary

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Team Members to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while assisting in various tasks within our Pokeworks standards and doing things the right way. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service and a commitment to maintaining a positive atmosphere for both guests and crew members.

Duties

• Prepare food items according to established recipes and standards to ensure quality and consistency.
• Assist customers with their selections, providing knowledgeable recommendations and ensuring a pleasant shopping experience.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and managing the cash register.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the store area, including bussing tables and cleaning workstations.
• Follow food handling and safety guidelines to ensure compliance with health regulations.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals and enhance overall efficiency.
• Participate in inventory management, including restocking shelves and monitoring product freshness.

Skills

• Experience in food preparation or culinary arts is preferred but not required.
• Strong sales skills with the ability to engage customers effectively.
• Familiarity with food service operations in a café or grocery store setting is advantageous.
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy periods.
• Proficient in cash handling procedures and basic math skills for accurate transactions.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Knowledge of food handling safety practices is essential for maintaining a safe workspace.
• Highly reliable, consistently committed to a set schedule, and adaptable when flexibility is needed.
• Problem solver and takes initiative.
