PURPOSE OF POSITION: To provide assistance with daily requirements of production and maintain a clean working area.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Cut wood to length and apply labels
• Strap and wrap finished goods
• Build crates
• Insert file rails
• Perform offline drilling of drawers
• Housekeeping duties including removal of garbage, sweeping, maintain a clean work area
• Assist with feeding and unloading of all equipment
• Complete appropriate paperwork
• Assist with the cutting operations on the cutting saws
• Assembly of moldings
• Ensure quality control of product
• All other duties as assigned

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• Previous manufacturing experience is an asset
• Work experience with minimal supervision
• Able to read a measure tape
• Good communication skills, written and verbal

REQUIRED EDUCATION:

• Grade 12 or equivalent is an asset

REQUIRED TRAINING:

• All applicable Occupational Safety and Health Regulations
• Olon specific training for designated position

PHYSICAL DEMANDS OF JOB:

• Must be able to lift and carry 20lbs on a frequent basis and 50lbs on occasion

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
