Job Description

As Pre Sales Technical Consultant you will provide expert technical consultancy to accelerate revenue growth and drive adoption of Rockwell Automation technology across the EMEA region.

You will work with Strategic, Global, Digital and Geographic Sales teams, shaping customer outcomes by defining architectures, demonstrating solutions, and building trusted relationships.

Primary focus industries: Life Sciences.

You will report to Engagement Manager EMEA.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Support revenue growth by delivering targeted pre‑sales technical activities across EMEA.
  • Promote RA technology adoption through technical and professional relationships with customers.
  • Develop conceptual architectures, demonstrations, and design studies that create clear technical advantage.
  • Define and achieve challenging technical and business value.
  • Ensure exchange of business-critical information.
  • Maintain up‑to‑date technical and commercial knowledge.
  • Operate in a pan‑EMEA scope with a preferred base in Southern or Central Europe.
  • Travel 30% of the time for customer engagements, pre‑sales activity, and onsite presentations.

The Essentials - You Will Have:

  • Minimum 5 years of MES PharmaSuite and Data Operations experience.
  • Demonstrated solution experience in the Life Sciences industry with familiarity in relevant standards (e.g., S88, FT Batch, S95, MTP, Annex 1, Weihenstephan).
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent technical experience.
  • Fluency in English and local language; additional languages are an advantage.

The Preferred - You Might Also Have:

  • Knowledge of Rockwell Automation's technology stack is beneficial.
  • Experience with automation, AI, digital technologies, migration.
  • Basic project management experience.
  • Experience with market trends, challenges, and drivers in Life Sciences.
  • Business and financial experience paired with an innovative mindset.

  • Intervenir sur un périmètre pan‑EMEA, idéalement basé en Europe du Sud ou en Europe Centrale.
  • Voyager environ 30 % du temps pour les rendez‑vous clients, activités avant‑vente et présentations sur site.

Compétences essentielles

  • Minimum 5 ans d'expérience en MES PharmaSuite et Data Operations.
  • Expérience démontrée dans l'industrie des Sciences de la vie, avec connaissance des standards pertinents (S88, FT Batch, S95, MTP, Annexe 1, Weihenstephan).
  • Diplôme universitaire ou expérience technique équivalente.
  • Maîtrise de l'anglais et de la langue locale ; langues supplémentaires appréciées.

  • Expérience en automatisation, IA, technologies digitales, migration.
  • Notions de gestion de projet.
  • Connaissance des tendances, enjeux et moteurs du marché Life Sciences.
  • Compétences business et financières, avec un esprit d'innovation.
