About the Role
Looking for your next big opportunity? We’ve got an exciting Technical Coordinator role just for you! In this position, you’ll get to coordinate day-to-day activities of technical field staff, ensuring safe, on-time, high-quality project delivery that meets customer expectations and achieves or exceeds job bid profit targets, making a real impact.
- Collaborating with Project Managers, Design teams, Customers, and technical staff to plan and deliver technical works.
- Develop and implementing cost-effective, safe, and compliant methodologies aligned with contract requirements.
- Schedule resources and coordinating technical staff to ensure productivity, quality, and industrial harmony.
- Support scoping and bidding of new contracts to deliver competitive proposals.
- Assist with progress claims, scope changes, technical reporting, and cost recovery for equipment and plant.
- Identify and mitigate project risks to protect infrastructure and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Contribute to inspection and test plans, job packs, and commissioning documents tailored to client needs.
- Oversee testing and commissioning of critical network equipment to ensure specification compliance
- Ensure adherence to contract agreements by both Omexom and customers, alongside Project Managers.
Qualifications and Skills
- A trade qualification in Distribution is essential.
- A live line qualification and/or tertiary qualification at polytechnic is preferred.
- Hands-on experience on distribution network installation and maintenance.
- A thorough knowledge of current regulatory and industry requirements pertaining to the carrying out of all prescribed electrical work.
