Technical Fleet Co-ordinator – Dublin
Johnson & Perrott Fleet is a well-established leader in Ireland’s vehicle leasing & fleet management sector and serves as the national partner to the Element Arval Global Alliance, a leading global provider who manage over 3 million vehicle in over 50 countries.
We are currently seeking a Fleet Controller to join our Dublin-based operations team. Reporting to the Team Leader, this position involves managing a high-volume workflow of service, maintenance, and repair authorisations while delivering excellent support to drivers.
The successful candidate will coordinate daily logistics, interact with vehicle manufacturers and service providers, and ensure all vehicles are operating efficiently and cost-effectively. The role offers the opportunity to work within a collaborative, goal-oriented team where attention to detail and customer service are key.
Required Skillset
· Very strong technical understanding and pragmatic decision-making skills
· Qualification as a motor technician or prior experience as service advisor in a dealership or OEM setting would be a distinct advantage
· Experience in a corporate or customer service environment would also be advantageous
· Strong literacy and numeracy skills
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel); experience with garage systems is a plus
· Confident communicator, particularly over the phone, with both customers and suppliers
· Self-driven, goal-oriented, and focused on delivering high levels of customer satisfaction
Responsibilities
· Authorise vehicle repairs and service costs within company guidelines
· Issue order numbers and coordinate maintenance and repair services
· Minimise vehicle downtime and ensure operational costs stay within budget
· Organise logistics for NCT and CVRT testing
· Liaise with vehicle manufacturers regarding warranty and policy-related matters
· Maintain accurate database records and process maintenance invoices
· Resolve customer queries and complaints in line with company policy
· Support team targets and contribute to shared performance goals
