- University / Post Graduate (Masters Degree or PhD) in Biology.
- Minimum 5 years of Experience in the Cosmetic industry ideally with the focus on Active Ingredients
- Passionate about sustainability with an ability to drive innovation projects in line with Evonik’s sustainability goals.
- Strong Leadership and strategic thinking skills with prior experience steering cross functional teams, and Excellent communication skills (fluent in French) with the ability to influence internally and build strong relationship with customers.
- Develop and maintain strong relationship with very important multi-national customer by interacting with large variety of stakeholders (from influencers to relevant decision makers in R&D, sustainability and regulatory department, within the customer organization) to enable effective two-way flow of information and generate projects.
- Ensure Strong Alignment with Evonik’s Global Product Lines (especially Active ingredients), Research & Technology Teams (especially Evonik Skin Institute & Biotech Hub), regulatory, quality and sustainable teams aligned with the customer’s and market needs.
- Provide technical support and expertise on cosmetic active ingredients, including their properties, efficacy, formulation, regulatory and sustainability aspects. Organize technical meetings in presence of relevant internal experts in order to provide training and support to the customer on active ingredients.
- Based on scientific literature and launches watch, identify and anticipate active ingredient trends of interest for the customer to influence sustainable business development.
- Within the key account team, participate to the establishment of a strategic product and collaboration plan on active ingredients and associated contractual terms that meet the customer's mid- to long-term needs. Present the plan to customer representatives and participate to the negotiation of R&D projects agreements with the support of relevant internal specialists.
- Coordinate with the technical regional teams (6 countries) supporting the customer account regionally to meet the business objectives.
- Develop a personal network within the business sector and represent the organization at business sector events (congresses & trade shows). Obtain market information and enhance the visibility and reputation of the organization, its products, and its services.
- University / Post Graduate (Engineer school, Masters Degree or PhD) in Biology, biotechnology or bio-Chemistry.
- Minimum 5 years of Experience in the Cosmetic Industry, specifically for Active Ingredients
- Passionate about Active Ingredients with an ability to drive innovation projects in line with Evonik’s Strategy and customers needs.
- Strong Leadership and strategic thinking skills with prior experience steering cross functional teams.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence internally and build strong relationship with customers. Fluent in French & English.
- Experience enables job holder to deal with the majority of situations and to advise others.
- Experience of motivating and driving cross functional teams to achieve specific end results within limited timeframes.
- Problem-solving mindset, analytical and project management skills
