Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity for overseeing the design, development, and implementation of advanced technical systems and solutions that optimize manufacturing processes (such as SAP ECC, S/4HANA, SAP Digital Manufacturing). This role involves working in a multidisciplinary team, collaborating with stakeholders, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, scalable solutions that drive efficiency, innovation, and cost-effectiveness in manufacturing operations. This role is located in Pitäjänmäki, Helsinki. You will be mainly accountable for: • Lead the design and development of manufacturing solutions, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and industry standards. • Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for advanced manufacturing technologies, automation, and system integration. • Develop and implement solutions involving ERP, MES, robotics, IoT, AI, and other advanced manufacturing technologies. • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, logistics, sales, quality assurance, and IT. • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, reducing waste and staying updated on emerging trends and technologies in manufacturing and industrial automation.

Qualifications for the role

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing or industrial automation
• Proven track record in delivering technical solutions that improve manufacturing operations Insert qualifications.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and systems (e.g., MES, SAP, PLM).
• Familiarity with IoT, automation technologies and AI applications in manufacturing.
• Knowledge of integrations platforms and technologies.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Excellent communication, collaboration skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and cross functional global teams.
