Alfa Laval Circular Separation Technologies (CST), Engineering & Supply is looking for a proactive Technical Project Manager to handle customer projects on time, on quality and on cost in an agile project management way.

About us in BU Circular Separation Technologies (CST)

BU CST Søborg design, engineer, and supply customized units for a wide range of industries by using Alfa Laval high-performance products like plate heat exchanges, high speed separators, decanters etc.

We in BU ENS Søborg deliver projects all over the world, with supply chains mainly in Europe & China, engineering team in Europe & India and sales teams in Sweden & Denmark. Our activities are divided into the following areas: Desalinated water, industrial wastewater, chemical & green evaporation, and fluid separation.

BU ENS is an important part of Alfa Laval’s work, being a major supplier to the worlds green transition projects in many areas, like industrial wastewater treatment, hydrogen production, plastic recovery etc.

About the job

As Technical Project Manager, you are the link between our worldwide Regional based Executive Project Managers (Ex.PM) and the engineering disciplines located in Søborg and in Pune, India.

Together with the engineering team you will create thorough planning for your projects, lead & follow-up on quality, time, and cost to ensure your projects are successful.

Main responsibilities:

Define the project scope and requirements together with the engineering team, Executive PM and sales team.
Plan the project deliverables together with the engineering team according to the sold project schedule and milestones.
Drive the project team to work as a team in an agile project management way, working with stand-up & sprint etc.
Stimulate, motivate, and inspire the project team to deliver on time, on cost, on spec, as part of our Agile Project Management setup.
Plan, coordinate and follow-up on procurement activities.
Coordination and follow-up with the workshops for assembly of the skids
Lead the technical discussion with customers.
Follow-up on project results, KPIs, hours and costs.
Use lessons learned to optimize ongoing engineering, bid activities etc.

The position will be in Søborg, and you will report to the Technical Project Management Team Manager for BU CST. 20 Travel days are expected.

What you know

We believe you have several years of experience in engineering roles, including project management in international and industrial settings. You hold a degree in engineering and are fluent in both written and spoken English
