Technical Relationship Manager

Overview of the Role

Due to our continued growth, we are recruiting a new Technical Relationship Manager. The primary focus of this role is to serve in a" technical liaison" capacity, working closely with our clients, understanding and identifying their needs and areas where our products or services can provide value. You will coordinate across our internal technical teams to ensure that we deliver the best possible solution and an outstanding customer experience. To achieve this, you will need an understanding of the capabilities and functionality of the solutions and services we offer.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Building and nurturing strong relationships with key clients. Act as the main point of contact and work to understand the client's business objectives, challenges, and technical requirements.
  • Provide tailored solutions and recommendations through developing a deep understanding of the client's technical environment, including -their infrastructure, systems, and software.
  • Providing technical guidance and support to the client, troubleshooting issues, and coordinating with our team to resolve problems.
  • Serving as an advocate for the client within Elive. This involves representing the client's interests, conveying their feedback and needs to the appropriate teams, and ensuring that we are responsive to our client's requirements.
  • Collaborating closely with Elive's technical and sales teams, advocating for the client to ensure coordinated and effective solutions and deployments.
  • Proactively identifying and addressing potential issues or roadblocks that may affect the client's satisfaction or success. This includes mitigating risks and finding solutions to challenges.
  • Maintain clear and open communication with the client. This includes providing regular updates, sharing relevant information, and addressing any concerns or questions.


We are looking for someone with over 5 years of experience selling or designing solutions in the IT industry.

Relevant IT degrees or certifications are preferable, but most importantly you will be well-versed in current technological trends and familiar with a variety of technology concepts, have exceptional client management and relationship-building skills, and the ability to establish trust, credibility, and rapport with clients.


Additional core competencies sought:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical clients.
  • A team-player with collaboration skills to work closely with internal teams, including technical, sales, and support departments.
  • The ability to analyse data and key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess client satisfaction and performance.
  • A strong customer-centric mindset, prioritising the client's success and satisfaction.
  • Proficiency in project management and the ability to problem solve and adapt to changing client needs, and industry trends.
