Technical Sales Representative

Position: Technical Sales Representative & Branch Supervisor

About Us:

Clark Ag Systems is a family-owned company that supplies farmers across Canada with a comprehensive range of top-quality equipment for poultry and egg production. Job Overview: The Technical Sales Representative & Branch Supervisor is a dual role responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our branch while driving sales efforts and offering technical expertise to our poultry industry customers. This position combines leadership, and technical sales, with a focus on customer relationship management, technical troubleshooting, and promoting our portfolio of products and services.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Sales Representative Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for technical inquiries and product recommendations related to our Poultry Equipment offerings.
  • Promote and sell poultry-related products to new and existing clients.
  • Conduct on-site visits to assess customer needs, providing tailored solutions and expert advice.
  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with key customers, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention.
  • Stay informed about the latest industry trends, market conditions, and technical advancements in the Poultry Industry.

Branch Supervisor Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the branch, ensuring efficient supervision of staff and resources.
  • Oversee inventory control, supply chain operations, and product delivery to ensure customer satisfaction and align with business objectives.
  • Lead and guide branch staff, promoting a culture of excellence and high performance.
  • Communicate branch performance data, budget status, and operational concerns to senior leadership.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in technical sales, ideally in the poultry or agricultural industry.
  • Strong leadership skills with at least 2-3 years of experience in a supervisory role an asset.
  • Knowledge of poultry farming and equipment an asset.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the assigned region.
