As a Technical Specialist, you’ll play a key role in delivering and managing Optus Enterprise’s Managed Network Services. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you’ll support cross-functional teams within the Technical Assistance Centre and ensure network stability, performance, and continuous improvement.
You’ll resolve complex network incidents with minimal customer disruption, identify root causes, and implement long-term solutions. You’ll also scope, plan, and execute complex network changes in line with SLAs.
With expertise in multi-vendor SD-WAN—particularly Aruba EdgeConnect, Aruba Wi-Fi, and Cisco SD-WAN (Viptela)—you’ll provide hands-on support, manage orchestrators and edge devices, and troubleshoot overlay/underlay networks. You’ll also coordinate vendor patching and upgrades.
Your skills to pay the bills
Proven experience in incident resolution and troubleshooting complex network incidents.
Expertise in problem management, identifying root causes, and implementing long-term solutions.
Skilled in change management & implementation, with a strong dedication to standard processes within ITIL.
Hands-on experience with multi-vendor SD-WAN technologies, especially Aruba EdgeConnect, Aruba Wi-Fi, and Cisco SD-WAN (Viptela).
Strong skills in orchestrator and edge device management, policy-based routing, and network diagnostics.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to professionally engage with enterprise customers and internal teams.
Demonstrated ability to work under a structured ITIL-based service management framework, meeting strict Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
Relevant certifications such as Aruba Certified Professional – Switching (ACP-S), Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), and others.
