About the role:
West Suffolk council continues on a journey of ambitious change and are committed to being more commercial. We have a vacancy for a full time Technical Support Officer to provide a dedicated customer contact point for all aspects of our commercial operation.
What you will need:
This is a high-profile role and provides an essential first point of contact for existing and new customers; therefore, a professional manner is essential. You will also possess excellent IT skills and have proven experience of working with accounting databases and spreadsheets.
Duties for this post include customer invoicing, amendments to contracts, liaising between customers and front-line staff, upselling and managing debt.
The drive and desire to improve the service we deliver along with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, be highly organised, with an attention to detail and accuracy are all vital for this role.
