Technician/Installer For Overhead Doors Wanted

We specialize in service and installation of Residential, Commercial and Industrial Overhead Doors and Openers. Work is performed on site at our customers business/homes in North Bay and the surrounding area. Most of the day is spend in the work truck travelling from job to job doing door installs or repairs. There could be out of town jobs as well.

Must be able to lift heavy door sections, and work off a ladder, scaffolding or scissor lift. We are looking for a hardworking individual with a positive attitude and the willingness to learn, along with :

Grade 12 Education

Good customer service skills, able to communicate and write in English

Bondable, clean cut and punctual. Clean driving record a must, subject to our Insurance requirements.

Working at heights training an asset.

Must be able to wear PPE equipment with includes hard hats, safety glasses, high visibility vest, steel toe boots, provided by the company.

Mechanically inclined with a good knowledge of hand and construction tools

Experience would be a plus, but would be willing to train. Salary would depend on experience and job skills. A working interview would be required.

After 3 months probation, you would be entitled to 3 pay sick days a year , and two weeks vacation. Pay schedule is bi-weekly.

Job is Monday to Friday 8 am - 4:30 pm with the possibility of overtime and weekend work for emergency calls only. 1/2 hour for lunch can be at the shop, or on the job location.
