What You’ll Do:
- Craft patent applications for visionary clients, complete with detailed descriptions and figures.
- Engage with the U.S. Patent Office on pending applications, shaping the future of innovation.
- Provide expert technical insights to patent litigation teams, leveraging your video compression knowledge.
- Collaborate with inventors to explore and protect their latest breakthroughs.
Who You Are:
- A video compression expert with a strong technical foundation.
- Experienced (or interested) in standard-essential patents tied to video coding standards like MPEG, HEVC, or AV1—desired!
- Equipped with an advanced degree in computer science or electrical engineering.
- Backed by 3+ years of patent prosecution experience and registration with the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office.
- A skilled writer with stellar academic credentials, ready to make an impact.
