We are seeking an experience Tekla Architectural Draftsperson / Shop Detailer with expertise in the steel construction industry.

About the role

• Interpret, prepare, model, produce fabrication and detail shop drawings.
• Design and draft various steel structures in Tekla
• Interpret and ensure compliance policies, procedures & regulations are adhered too.
• Production quality control
• Communicate with other internal departments & meet budgets
• Implement a consumable library in Tekla to automate drawings
• Manage projects during manufacturing & on site during installation
• Liaise with builders, architects, engineers and our site installation crew

Requirements:

• 3 years Experience in Tekla Software (essential)
• Knowledge/experience in the steel construction industry
• Proficient in BIM modelling and documentation
• Enjoy a variety of residential and commercial projects to work on
• Degree in Architecture or Civil Engineering with minimum 2 years of experience in Tekla Software
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skill with intricate projects
• Working collaboratively in a team
• An eye for detail with accuracy

This position is working from our Malaga offices. This is not a remote/offshore/freelance position.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• No weekends
• Overtime

Supplementary Pay:

• Overtime pay
