We are looking to hire Telecommunication Technicians in Napier, Hawkes Bay for our company who will be required to perform tasks at different locations within this region. They shall perform the below mentioned tasks:
- Managing Copper/Fiber testing and splicing.
- Troubleshooting and maintenance support.
- Responsible for planning, developing, designing and installing fibre/copper/ONT/Wi-Fi/Ethernet and relevant telecommunication equipment connections to telephone exchanges, homes, buildings, offices and domestic premises.
- Installation, configuration and security of modem/router/ONT/Wi-Fi.
- Perform build, laying and jointing of telecommunication cables.
- Managing data and voice structured cabling.
- Provide Q&A activities on team installation (taking photos of all jobs).
- Carry out daily general administration & documentation duties related to tasks.
- Maintain Health & Safety at all times
- Provide high level customer services and maintain work quality standards
- Submit all associated paperwork on time.
- Working on Network/ISP devices such as modem and routers.
You will be required to work for a minimum of 30 hours per week.
Other requirements:
- Attention to detail.
- Available to work on weekends and holidays.
- Valid Driver's license is highly preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 – $30.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Shift work
- Weekend availability
