Temporary Product Manager Opportunity

We are seeking a Copenhagen-based Product Manager to join our Companion App team as a temporary replacement during maternity leave (9–12 months). This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in enhancing our iOS/Android app, which empowers our customers to manage their online presence and operate their businesses seamlessly while on the move.

The Companion App is a key strategic pillar of our business, designed to help small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) thrive online. In addition to app management, you'll lead the creation of new social media and marketplace sales channels for our online shop customers, positioning them for greater success. This role offers exciting growth potential, with the possibility of a permanent position in the future.

Your Role

Be part of a dynamic team dedicated to helping businesses succeed online. You’ll collaborate with a diverse group of product managers, development teams in Copenhagen and Delhi, and our user experience (UX) design experts.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive Companion App development: Lead feature enhancements and deliver value for users managing their businesses on the go.
• Product Ownership: Act as the Product Owner for two Scrum teams, aligning on strategic priorities with other product managers.
• Expand sales channels: Spearhead the creation of new social media and marketplace integration for our online shop customers.
• Collaborate across teams: Work closely with marketing and commercial teams to create product propositions that captivate and engage our customers.
• End-to-end feature management: Define and prioritise features, align stakeholders, and oversee processes from concept to launch.
• Data-driven decisions: Leverage analytics to monitor product performance and inform strategic decisions.
• Influence at all levels: Present progress, results, and insights to senior leadership and other key stakeholders.

Qualifications

Must-Haves

• A Master’s degree in a relevant field.
• Several years of experience as a Product Manager/Owner for B2C web or app-based solutions.
• Proven expertise in mobile app development and UX design processes.
• A strong analytical mindset, coupled with conceptual and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Scrum and agile methodologies.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills in English.

Preferred Skills

• B2C e-commerce expertise: Familiarity with the unique needs of local businesses.
• Design proficiency: Experience in UX design, wireframing, and graphic design is a plus.
• Remote team collaboration: Experience working with off-site development teams.
• A technical background in web design or development is an advantage.
