Position: Temporary Seasonal Floor Staff

Location: Swords, Galway

Part time/Full time

Key Responsibilities:

1. Customer Engagement:

  • Extend warm greetings to customers and create a friendly, welcoming atmosphere.
  • Assist customers with menu selections and provide information about our offerings.
  • Take and accurately relay customer orders to the kitchen.

2. Food and Beverage Service:

  • Efficiently serve food and beverages to customers.
  • Ensure food is presented to a high standard and matches customer expectations.
  • Monitor and address any customer requests or concerns.

3. Cleanliness and Organization:

  • Maintain the dining area and service station in impeccable condition, well-organized, and fully stocked.
  • Adhere rigorously to cleanliness and hygiene standards.

4. Dessert Presentation:

  • Oversee the dessert counter, including display, stock rotation, and cleanliness.
  • Demonstrate expertise in all products, especially regarding allergens and food intolerances.
  • Present desserts to a high standard.

5. Cash Handling:

  • Accurately process payments, handle cash, and maintain a secure cash drawer.

6. Efficiency in High Demand:

  • Work efficiently, especially during busy periods, to minimize customer wait times.

7. Cross-Training:

  • Exhibit adaptability by learning different aspects of Front of House roles.
  • Maintain a flexible attitude in taking on other duties as needed.

Qualifications:

Experience

  • A genuine passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
  • minimum 1 year in a hospitality/restaurant role
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and a dedication to cleanliness.
  • Basic math skills for cash transaction handling.
  • Awareness of health and safety regulations.
  • Barista experience would be beneficial
