Description:
About the role
We are seeking an experienced Test Lead who will be responsible for the planning, coordination and oversight of testing across business-critical digital platforms and projects (including Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM, FinOps and Power Platform) within a complex organisational environment.

The Test Lead is responsible for coordinating test activities for all releases to the platform(s) and translating features into test requirements and evidence following Agile delivery principles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain the Test Strategy and Test Approach aligned to delivery model (Agile/Hybrid/Waterfall) and organisational standards.
• Establish and enforce quality gates (entry/exit criteria), including release readiness criteria, test completion rules and evidence requirement
• ​​​​​​​Ensure test coverage includes Dynamics 365 CRM and Power Platform components, including Dataverse data, security roles, model-driven app behavior, and integrations with downstream systems.
• Lead day-to-day test coordination across delivery teams including scheduling, resourcing, execution oversight and dependency management.
• Oversee creation and maintenance of test artefacts including test cases, test scripts, regression packs and checklists.
• Develop and execute data reconciliation approaches for migrations and integrations including record counts, aggregates, sampling and exception handling.
• Manage defect lifecycle: logging, triage, prioritisation, assignment, retest and closure; ensure timely resolution of critical issues.
• Create and maintain enterprise applications’ User Acceptance Test (UAT) cases, checklists and documentation.
• Identify opportunities to improve test efficiency and coverage across UI, API and data validation testing.
• Ability to understand various concepts and terminologies, including highly technical content, and express them in a clear and concise manner.
• Ensuring knowledge sharing and collaboration with the team

Skills and Experiences:
About you

• Tertiary qualifications in a business or technology related field and/or significant industry experience
• Minimum 5 plus years’ experience leading testing across enterprise applications, digital products and/or data platforms within complex organisations, projects, and programs
• Experience delivering programs within a DevOps landscape, with a strong understanding of tools and methodologies
• Working experience with waterfall and agile project methodologies
• Capacity to support change and innovation and deliver creative and leading practice solutions
• Demonstrated experience delivering and leading test automation (UI/API) and integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines (must have)
• ​​​​​​Demonstrated familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM and the Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI and Dataverse), including testing of configurations, integrations and security roles (must have)
