Key Areas of responsibility
- Responsible for overall test engineering (Subsystem and System-level) activities
within the team
- Analyze requirements and determine product testing parameters
- Defining Test concept
- Writing test plans, defining test cases and test scenarios for the product.
- Coordinate/communicate with team members failed test cases or errors in the
product and to ensure problem solution, appropriate risk reduction, and user
satisfaction.
- Responsible for maintaining traceability requirements for the products
- Responsible for reliability testing of systems and subsystems
- Troubleshooting any errors and streamlining the testing procedures.
- Ensuring all tests and procedures meet company and industry standards.
- Preparing test reports for management
Job knowledge, skills and experience
- Bachelor/ Master in electronics/electrical engineering with at least 5 years of
experience in relevant test engineering activities
- Extensive knowledge of engineering and testing procedures (test case definition,
testing models, usage of required test tools and troubleshooting)
- Knowledge of key new trends in testing systems (hardware and software) would
be an added plus
- Team player driving interactions with the design team, proactively sharing test
feedback to build robust designs and products
- Strong process orientation and attention to detail ensuring compliance in
documentation management and test reporting (High-level technical writing skills)
- Healthcare domain experience is desirable
- Strong communication skills, a down-to-earth mentality, ability to deal with a
diverse stakeholder field.
- Experience in reliability methodology and prediction is desirable
