Role Overview
Ushers are vital members of our Front of House team. They ensure that every guest enjoys a safe, welcoming, and enjoyable theatre experience. Ushers assist with seating, provide information, uphold safety procedures, and represent the friendly spirit of TF Royal Theatre.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet patrons warmly upon arrival and assist them with directions inside the theatre.
- Check tickets and guide guests to their correct seats.
- Provide information about facilities, show times, and theatre policies.
- Support accessibility needs (e.g., assisting patrons with reduced mobility).
- Monitor audience areas to maintain a safe, comfortable, and respectful environment.
- Respond quickly and calmly to any incidents, following theatre safety and evacuation procedures.
- Assist with latecomer seating and ensure minimal disruption during performances.
- Help with merchandise sales or interval services when required.
- Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of the auditorium and public areas before, during, and after performances.
- Deliver outstanding customer service as a representative of the TF Royal Theatre brand.
- May suit person in retirement.

Requirements
- Previous customer service or hospitality experience is desirable but not essential.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays according to performance schedules.
- Must be 18+
- Training will be provided in customer service, health & safety, and emergency procedures.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From €14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 6 – 20 per week
