The primary role of the Therapy Sales Specialist is to manage sales targets and to lead sales and marketing efforts of the Cardiac Ablation Solutions (CAS) product portfolio in the Norwegian market. One of the key tasks of this job is to be able to drive the sales, provide service and assist some clinical ablation procedures at each account in the Territory. Likewise, you will provide first class professional sales strategies in conjunction with technical training programs.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
- Create and maintain relationship management and communicate strategy and actions required with all levels of stakeholders at the account.
- Management of Key Opinion Leaders (KOL’s) is the key to success in this job as well as teamwork with colleagues.
- Deliver successful training and stay on top of new product developments.,
- Define and execute sales strategies and deliverables to develop meaningful, long term and sustainable business growth
- Develop sales plans for the designated territory, communicate forecast and apply professional sales skills to execute on business plans and achieve and exceed sales targets practices in line with team practices and compliant with Medtronic Business Conduct Standards.
- Assist customers during clinical ablation procedures with both existing and new CAS technologies
- Gather market intelligence, customer needs and requirements, whether requested or just observations and communicate to the respective CAS personnel in a timely and meaningful manner
Required Knowledge and Experience:
- Technical and/or field sales experience – preferably from Electrical Physiology (EP) or an invasive cardiac device company
- Experience of supporting procedures in the CathLab
- Experience with negotiations, tender, product presentation and Key Account Management
- A commercial mindset
- Excellent planning and organizational skills
- Located in Norway and flexible with regards to travel who can speak Norwegian fluently
