National Gypsum / Gold Bond Building Products, Wilmington, NC Plant

• Third Shift position MUST be available for other shifts as well
• MUST practice Safety as # 1 Priority for you and ALL co-workers
• MUST be able to discern root cause of maintenance issues and tackle the root cause to illuminate the problem going forward
• Determine Corrective Actions to illuminate the problem
• Must be willing and able to work with Production Operators on Changeover and equipment change process
• Must report and inventory parts used to ensure accurate inventory at all times
• Must be Self-Reliant with the ability to troubleshoot and repair electrically and mechanically
• Be able to perform monthly test on ALL safety systems
• Employee MUST provide complete mechanics tool set including impact sockets, wrench set up to 1-1/4", large pry bars, hammers, screw drivers, levels, squares, and tapes.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must demonstrate a clear focus on SAFETY as the main priority of the job
• We preferred a MINIMUM of five years' exp., working in heavy industrial maintenance environment
• Excellent Problem-solving aptitude, troubleshooting , and demonstrated ability to determine root cause(s) of equipment failure
• Desire someone with strong electrical and fabrication skills and the ability to engineer and design solutions for process change, must be able to use electrical tools
• Exp., working on screw conveyors, belt conveyors, bucket elevators, chains & couplings
• Positive attitude toward change, need to be adaptable w/ strong communication skills
• Must be able to operate cutting torch, weldidng equipment to fabricate parts
• Must be Self-directed work w/ minmal supervision and able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $38.11 per hour

Experience:

• Programmable logic controllers: 1 year (Preferred)
• Mechanical knowledge: 1 year (Preferred)

Willingness to travel:
