Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Tile Installer to join our growing team in Halifax, Nova Scotia. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of hands-on experience in tile installation and be well-versed in all aspects of the trade, including preparation, layout, and finishing. As a Tile Installer, you will play a key role in ensuring the highest quality of work in both residential and commercial projects. Key Responsibilities:

• Measure and prepare surfaces for tile installation, ensuring proper layout and alignment.

• Cut, lay, and install tiles on floors, walls, and other surfaces according to specifications.

• Apply grout, sealants, and other finishing materials to complete tile installation.

• Ensure all installations meet safety and quality standards, adhering to industry regulations and client specifications.

• Work with a variety of materials, including ceramic, porcelain, marble, and other types of tiles.

• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including managing tools and equipment.

• Communicate with supervisors and clients to discuss project requirements and timelines.

• Troubleshoot and resolve installation issues as they arise.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in tile installation.

• Must be based in or around Halifax, Nova Scotia.

• Strong knowledge of tile materials, tools, and installation techniques.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and work from detailed instructions.

• Good understanding of building codes and safety regulations.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality craftsmanship.

• Good communication skills and a professional attitude.

• Reliable transportation to job sites.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with both residential and commercial tile installations.

• Certification or training in tile installation or related fields (an asset).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
