About the Role

We’re looking for a full-time team member who knows their way around timber and building products—or is keen to learn. This full-time role (40 hours per week; 10 hours per day (Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday) in our Timber and Building department (Trade) is all about helping customers find the right materials for their projects, from weekend DIYers to seasoned tradies. You’ll also get hands-on with the technical side of things—operating saws, forklifts, and other trade machinery, ensuring timber is measured and sold correctly, and keeping the yard tidy and running smoothly. Your availability should match this roster pattern.

What You’ll Bring

Experience in a trade yard, timber/building retail, or as a tradie stepping off the tools
Good physical fitness – there’s some heavy lifting involved
Forklift licence (F endorsement & OSH accredited) – a major plus, but not essential
Full, clean Class 1 driver’s licence – essential if you need forklift training
A hands-on, problem-solving mindset – you enjoy working with timber and building materials
