Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Tire Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing tire installations, repairs, and maintenance services to ensure the safety and satisfaction of our customers. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and a commitment to providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Install, balance, and repair tires on various vehicles, ensuring proper alignment and safety standards.
- Conduct routine maintenance checks on tires and related components to identify wear and potential issues.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively while adhering to safety protocols.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and offering recommendations based on vehicle needs.
- Assist with heavy lifting of tires and equipment as required during service operations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored after use.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals and maintain high-quality service standards.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a dealership or mechanic environment is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive repair and maintenance.
- Proficient in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients regarding their tire needs.
- Capability to perform heavy lifting as needed during tire installation and maintenance tasks.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving with attention to detail in all aspects of work.
