Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Tool and Die Maker to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and experience in manufacturing precision parts. This role requires attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work with various materials and machinery.

Duties

• Set up and operate Tool Room equipment including manual mills and lathes.
• Manufacture assemblies utilizing components like rosan inserts, helicoils, lee plugs, epoxy, etc.
• Utilize precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers to ensure accuracy.
• Perform preventative maintenance on tools and equipment
• Interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Maintain job routing information and complete sign-offs.
• Maintain work area and equipment in a clean, orderly condition and follow safety procedures.

Skills

• ITAR - U.S. citizenship required
• High school diploma or GED/technical school preferred
• 2-5 years related work experience preferred
• Working knowledge of measuring equipment (mics, calipers, gauges), surface grinders, lathes, mills, and drill presses
• Proficient in using micrometers and other precision measuring instruments.
• Experience working independently from written or verbal instructions
• Knowledge of mechanical drawings, tooling, and blueprints

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
