Profile (Overview of job)
Under the direction and leadership of the Stores, Lead, this role is responsible for safely and efficiently managing Production Tool and Equipment Inventory.
Key Responsibilities
  • Issue and maintain tool and equipment records for parts that leave and are returned to inventory.
  • Tool calibration, repairs, and replacement processes
  • Work with procurement team to order out of stock tools and parts and ensure safety stock is in place.
  • Receive, unpack, and store incoming tools/equipment and requisitions stock to replenish inventory.
  • Inspect and measure tools and equipment for defects and wear.
  • Locate lost or misplaced tools and equipment, as required.
  • Tracking all relevant warehouse and inventory information with a Materials Requirement Planning (MRP) system and/or an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) System
  • Conduct audits to ensure accuracy of physical inventory
  • Additional tasks as required
Qualifications
  • 2-3 years of related experience
  • Demonstrated teamwork skills. A willingness and personality suited to work in a team-oriented environment
  • Valid Material Handling Equipment Ticket an asset (SDCB, High Reach, Power Walkie, or other MHE as required by operations) - willing to be trained as needed.
  • Warehouse experience is an asset
  • Experience with using MRP or ERP systems is an asset
