Department: Production – Tool Crib

About the Role

We are seeking experienced Tool Crib Setters to join our Production team. This role is critical in ensuring the availability, accuracy, and efficiency of tooling operations. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in tool presetting, measurement techniques, and CNC machine setup, along with excellent communication and coordination skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain tool inventory, track usage, wear, and replacements.
• Inspect tools for damage and compliance with specifications.
• Assemble, label, and store tools properly.
• Ensure cleanliness, organization, and safety within the tool crib.
• Assist in reducing tooling costs and improving tool life.
• Coordinate effectively with operators and programmers to support production needs.

Required Qualifications

• Education: ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (DME)
• Experience: Minimum 2 years in tool crib or CNC machining environment

Mandatory Skills

• Strong knowledge of cutting tools and tool assemblies
• Proficiency in tool presetters and measuring instruments
• Knowledge of tool offset, wear offset, and tool life management
• Ability to perform tool runout checks and control
• Understanding of CNC machine setup and CAM data requirements
• Inventory control and tooling database management

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to ₹40,000.00 per month
