Job description of Tool Room Operator

Designation- Tool Room Operator

Job Type- Full time / Permanent

Work Location- IMT Manesar, Safdarjung Enclave, Delhi or any site location of the company

Tool Operation:

Machine Operation: Operate and control Manual lathes Machines, Manual milling machines, Manual Shaper machines.

Good knowledge of transmission parts fitting & alignment like bearing & couplings fitting, gearbox fitting, assembling & dissembling of gearbox, belt & pully fittings & Alignment etc.

Good experience in technical troubleshooting work.

Tool Setting: Set up and adjust machine tools to ensure they are properly configured for specific production tasks.

Quality Control: Monitor the quality of produced parts using precision measuring instruments to ensure they meet specified tolerances.

Tool Maintenance:

Routine Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance on machine tools to ensure they operate efficiently and accurately.

Tool Sharpening: Sharpen and maintain cutting tools to optimize their performance and extend their lifespan.

Troubleshooting: Diagnose and address any issues with tools or machines to minimize downtime.

Material Handling:
Select and load materials into machines, ensuring that the correct type and quantity of material are used.

Manage inventory of raw materials and tools, keeping track of stock levels and ordering supplies as needed.

Safety Compliance:

Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.

Use personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow established safety procedures.

Documentation:

Maintain accurate records of machine settings, adjustments, and maintenance activities.

Document any issues or deviations from standard procedures.

Experience
