Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and organized Salon Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for clients, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of the salon. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. The Salon Coordinator will play a vital role in enhancing the client experience and supporting salon staff.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients warmly upon arrival and provide excellent customer service throughout their visit.
• Manage appointment scheduling, confirmations, and cancellations efficiently.
• Provide Kid's hair cuts (specializing in first time cuts and kid's with special needs) and professional head lice removal services in our Toronto clinic.
• Coordinate appointments among available providers
• Training of provides to ensure adequate coverage
• Handle cash transactions accurately and maintain financial records.
• Conduct product demos and assist clients with product selection based on their needs.
• Maintain an organized salon clinic, ensuring it is clean and welcoming at all times and complies with standards of sanitization .
• Support retail sales by promoting products and services offered by the salon.
• Assist with inventory management, including ordering supplies as needed.
• Uphold phone etiquette by answering calls promptly and addressing client inquiries professionally.
• Collaborate with salon staff to ensure seamless operations and enhance team communication.
• Clinic salon maintenance including cleaning, sanitization and facilitating laundry

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a customer service or retail environment.
• Hairstylist license with salon experience
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proficiency in cash handling and basic financial transactions.
• Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Experience in product demonstrations or technical sales is advantageous.
• A passion for the beauty industry and a desire to provide outstanding service to clients.
• Willingness to learn and perform Lice Squad's method of head lice removal services

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.50-$22.94 per hour

Work days:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed

Experience:

• Hair styling: 1 year (preferred)
• Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
