About the Role:

We are looking for an enthusiastic, charismatic, and knowledgeable Mythology Tour Guide to lead unique walking tours throughout Rome, bringing the ancient world to life through stories of gods, heroes, emperors, and legends.

This is not a standard history tour role. We want someone who can captivate audiences with the myths, mysteries, and symbolism woven into Rome’s monuments, temples, fountains, and archaeological sites. The ideal candidate is an exceptional storyteller who can make ancient mythology engaging for visitors of all ages.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead mythology-themed walking tours throughout Rome.
• Deliver engaging and accurate stories about Roman and Greek mythology.
• Connect mythological narratives to Rome’s landmarks, art, architecture, and history.
• Create memorable experiences through interactive storytelling.
• Answer guest questions with confidence and enthusiasm.
• Maintain excellent guest satisfaction and receive positive tour reviews.
• Ensure groups are managed safely and professionally.
• Stay up to date with relevant historical and archaeological research.

Ideal Candidate

• Passion for Roman and Greek mythology.
• Strong public speaking and presentation skills.
• Experience in guiding tours, teaching, acting, storytelling, or performing arts.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Ability to engage diverse international audiences.
• Knowledge of Rome’s history, culture, and major sites.
• Licensed tour guide qualification (where required) is preferred.
• Additional language skills are highly desirable.
